About Us
Barney & Claudine Annis, Owners
Smart Arms Solutions offers enjoyable and affordable training for anyone looking to learn safe firearm usage or overcome their fear of firearms. We provide both group and private lessons, as well as Texas Licensed to Carry courses. Our passion is sharing our expertise in an approachable manner to help students achieve their goals.
Claudine Annis is our lead firearms instructor and is a dedicated advocate for responsible firearm ownership.
Claudine grew up around firearms, but her dad didn't think girls should shoot. Fast forward many years and while visiting her dad, he invited her to the range. This began her journey into learning more about firearms. She enjoyed training and having date night at the range with her husband Barney. When her youngest daughter turned 21 she wanted to get her Concealed Carry License and Claudine was all in!
Her commitment to empowering individuals, especially women, lead people to ask her to take them to the range and teach them how to safely use their handgun. With a passion for safety and education, this lead her to achieve her USCCA Instructor Certification specializing in Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals.
