Complete the classroom portion of your LTC online by watching the videos from anywhere and on any computer, smartphone or tablet. Watch as little or as much of the online LTC class at a time with progress saved as you watch each video segment

The LTC class covers Texas laws and regulations surrounding guns and carrying a handgun. This class does not teach how to carry a gun, what equipment to select, or how to draw the gun from a concealed holster.  We recommend taking our in person Basic Handgun class if you are not confident in the handling of your firearm.  

Every LTC applicant, with some exceptions, must complete the in person proficiency demonstration after the completion of the online LTC class. Students have 2 years from the completion of this online LTC class to get the proficiency demonstration completed and submitted to Texas DPS with the LTC application.

The proficiency demonstration consists of the shooting qualification and range instruction. This is done in person with any LTC instructor in Texas. Please contact us after your completed class to schedule your in person proficiency.  If you are not in the DFW metroplex, we can provide you with a list of certified instructors.
